Sometime we'll have to get together and define terms. Having come from the Covenantal Camp (my first ordination as a ruling elder was in the PCA)to something more akin to the dispensational view (I describe myself as others have put it as a leaky dispensationalist) I note that there are Covenantalism(S) and Dispensationalism(S) and few,if any can define terms sufficiently to explore the other's view. Each tends to create a straw-man argument in order to eviscerate the other. I was once historic pre-mil; now I'm premil-pretrib.RealCuriousAboutTruthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02341182782938464708noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24083646.post-59611450139216129902010-09-21T17:35:23.917-05:002010-09-21T17:35:23.917-05:00The only way to be prepared for the future is to s...The only way to be prepared for the future is to stay close to Jesus. It helps me to see where you are coming from in your teaching. I also have a question for you. How do you tell your flock to prepare for the coming hard times? For they are almost upon us; the way the Federal Reserve is flooding our nation with useless dollars will lead to inflation and most likely hyper-inflation soon.
Are you instructing people to be prepared to take family and friends into their own home when they have no where to go? To store up some extra food? Do you require your deacons to be hospitable as the scriptures require? I have been looking for a fellowship that truly lives the Word, teaches the history behind the scriptures and the history of the church through the ages.
Thank you for your response.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
